Present and Future

Present
1) Do you have a reason for the choice you made? (E.g Why did you choose to study this course? Why did you become a debater? Why did you choose polytechnic?)
2) Why do you want to excel in this area? (E.g.Why do you want to be a good debater?)

A good reason is needed to motivate you into doing better in that area.

Future
1) What are your goals?
2) Are they really what you want or just cause your parents/teachers said so?
3) Will you be really happy when you achieve all your goals?
4) What will happen when one day you realize that you have achieve all your goals and have no more goals to work towards? Will you be lost?

Goals are the reason why we work hard, but what will happen when you realize that you are not very happy even after you achieve your goals because they might not be what you really want and it's too late to change? Will everything come tumbling down? Will you always be in regret and longer be able to stand up?

Something someone asked today and I felt really terrible for some reasons. Will do a post on it soon. Time to sleep. NIGHTS! :D

Grrrr....

I really don't get some people. This is a totally random post, and that you might not get it cause its gonna be full of rambling, but pardon me as I'm really pissed now.
Okay, so it all happened when I didn't turn up for trainings during the holidays.
Why didn't a go for training?
Because no one informed me. I didn't even know that there's a change in president until I have to text the teacher due to some other matters towards the end of the hols, just before I'm about to leave for the Japan trip. Only then I know about the change in president and that there is training.
First, I missed like around three weeks of training because no one informed me especially the one who is responsible to(president?).
Secondly, I don't even have the her number? How am I supposed to contact her to ask regarding training dates?
You might ask why didn't I contact someone else. Because I have only a few contacts in the team and some of them alr left due to some reasons. So tell me who am I supposed to contact?
Then it all started when they had a what's app group and this friend o mine added me into the group when sch started. I didn't do anything cause frankly speaking, I didn't know what to say as I've missed so many trainings.
On that faithful day, the president privately what's apped me to go for training the next day (she said politely "would be nice is you can come"). And of course, I went.
The training on that day was boring and I sat there doing nothing cause they were putting their focus on those going for the competition. I went a few days later again.
Then I realised that I was just sitting doing nothing, so I decided to not go for training till comp is over cause I'll get to train then. I know that they are right to put their focus on those who are going for the comp, and it's me who didn't turn up for trainings, but I'm not gonna spend my time sitting there and not learn anything when I have tutorials to do.
Then I found out from the friend who added me into the group that the president privately what's apped him to "not add strangers into the group" after he added me. I was unhappy then.
First, you are saying that I'm a stranger cause I didn't turn up during the hols, when no one contacted me regarding the training dates? Especially it's your job(it's the president's job to liaise with the coaches and inform us of the training in our team)?
Secondly, why nicely ask me to go for training after the hols? And since you think that I'm a stranger?!
But I let it pass cause yeap I didn't go for training and maybe I should've asked around uh?
Then today, she strike once again. Lol, strike? I made her sound like some criminal, but she isn't.
She started it by announcing in the group that she created a new group for only active members huh? ("Guys please exit this whatsapp group. We need to manage the active members here only." "Join the new one we have created for more updates on CADC.")
Firstly, please note that you cannot join a what's app group unless through invitation?!
Secondly, maybe I'm being over sensitive. But I have a strong feeling that its about me?! That's when I started to get angry.
Why can't you be more direct and ask me to leave the group instead of doing so much. You have been trying to act nice while you are hating me or treating me as a stranger, and I really hate that. I don't understand why do you have to do these.
If you ha been more direct into askin me why I didn't turn up for trainings or asked me to leave the group if I'm so inactive and try to sort things out with me, I would've have a little more respect for you despite me still thinking that its your fault for not telling me about trainings.
But now you are using these methods, which makes you really despicable and evil. And I really lost all my respect to you as a president and a senior.
Okay, I'm babbling and I don't really understand myself. But I'm just really pissed.
Why can't humans be more direct and just confront directly instead of doing so many things behind my back? You are alr a poly student yet you are creating so many secondary sch like drama. I expected you to be more matured.
If you are not gonna change, everything will go.

Japan trip!:) Part 1.

Nothing interesting have been happening lately to post, so I decide to post about the Japan trip that i went with the school sometime in September. I know I know, it's like one month old, but that's the most interesting thing lately.

Okay, so this trip happened because a college in Toyama invited our school for a visit, of course our school accepted, and TA DAH! I have a trip to Japan! :D I ain't really excited at first, because none of my friends are going, I'm going with people who I never meet before. Though we have some ice-breaking session, but I'm a super duper duper shy person when it comes to meeting new people, I'd stay in the corner texting my friends rather than to try to strike a convo with new people, and there you can guess that ice-breaking session didn't help. :( Therefore, though I was really excited that I got to go Japan for the first time, I'm still super worried. Even till I reached the airport, I stay with my sister rather than to go find my room mate and other people to mingle with. Hahaha! I take SUPER LONG to open up!
Still, I meet really GREAT PEOPLE that are super AWESOME, I never regret going for it!
Only my sis and dad came to send me off because coincidentally, mummy is in Japan for work(but we didn't meet:( ), so my sis and I camwhored while waiting for the teachers to gather the group.
After checking-in, the teachers gathered us, and MrD told us to form a circle,he said it's to ensure that everyone is here, and told us that this is how we will gather when we are in Japan. Oh god,  didn't like this part, it feels like primary school kid?! Can you imagine 40 poly students forming a circle in front of check-in counter at the airport? I mean everyone should be old enough to take note of anyone missing from the team and not form a circle. Maybe it's just me, but it feels really childish. Lol. We even did that when we landed in Japan beside the luggage belt, got requested to move away by the guard after a while cause we were obstructing the way. Aiyooo, we just landed and got "chased" away. Really embarrassing ah.
Sissy! :)

We landed in the morning, feeling really tired. As much as I LOVE SQ, I really don't like sleeping on the plane, it's SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE! I really wanted to just cancel the schedule and just go to the hotel to sleep! You think can? Of course not! We still carried on as planned.\
So.. First stop was Toyota museum. I wanted to go to the factory, but we can only go to the museum... :( The museum was still super cool though! :)
I have a thing for vintage cars, and there were like quite a number in the museum! So COOL! I wanna drive all the cars home!
Vintage car 1. Ain't it cute?
Vintage car 2. I love the colour of this car!
Miniature truck, sho cute right?
A SPORTS CAR after all the vintage! A rose among the thorns? Nonono! A tiger among the cats maybe? HAHAHA!

A cute little red vehicle! Is this a truck?
MY FAVOURITE CAR! I love the colour and the design! CAN I HAVE ONE PLEASE? :(
Then I went to the toilet in the museum, and I must say that the toilet amazed me! Especially the sink. My first time experiencing how cool toilets in Japan are! The toilets everywhere are all so high-tech!
The ultra cool sink. Tap, soap, dryer - 3-IN-1!
The soap that automatically dispenses... This is kinda normal.

Then there's the dryer for the had! This was the super cool part, I didn't think that they can put the dryer at the sink!
There's a small zoo near the museum which we went since we still had some time. Who doesn't love animals. It ain't very big, but there's still a variety of animals.
This is a deer (shika)! A male, which explains the horns!!
Lama! My first time seeing it! So unique!
Flamingo! The last time I saw it was in the Singapore zoo(which I haven't gone for a long long long time)
Ostrich! It looked to sad! :( can you see the numbers on the paper ? This male ostrich is born on 1999? Mean he's 4 year's younger than me?
I don't know what is this? A peacock -cum-chicken? I don't know, but it's cute!
Horses! I wanna ride a horse, I've never ride one before :(
Monkey! Many other species. But all are so active that I cannot take a good picture. Of course, that's why they are monkeys!

There's this train that we can have a look. But I spent too much time  on the animals that I didn't have a chance to go on it :(
Next stop was another Toyota Museum, this museum is more modern when compared to  the previous one. I'm not a var enthusiast, thus ain't really interested, But they still have really cool things like robots and electric cars! :D

Cool Robot! It plays the flute! super cute!

It this Bumblebee?

Electric car! Future of cars!

I'm gonna drive this jeep home! :) (but I didn't in the end, no fuel :()

My Car! :D

After lunch, we went to a shrine. First time visiting a Japanese shrine! Of course, It's your first trip to Japan, How could you visit a shrine before? Lol. I'm being lame.
Difference between shrine vs temple?
Shrine- "In Christianity a shrine often refers to a church or an altar sacred to a saint or a holy person. In other words a shrine is a holy place connected with the life and beliefs of a holy man or a saint.
VS
Temple - "On the other hand the word ‘temple’ refers to a sacred place for the believers of any given form of religion. It is a place where the believers of a particular religion accept to be the abode of God. They often visit temples with a view to have the sight of God. Each religion has got its own temple. These temples differ from each other in terms of the method of construction, materials used in construction, appearance and the story behind their construction and the like."

You have to cleanse yourself. Which involves cleansing of hands and rinsing of mouth.
A very very very old tree (Couldn't remember how old). BEWARE! - Guides says there's a giant snake living in the tree.

Everyone started asking about their future and I did too of course. It isn't really good T.T So i tied the it on the rack(pic2), as they said that you should leave your paper there when it isn't really good, so it might become better?

That's the end of day 1, so we checked in to the hotel had dinner before going to sleep. Was so tired that I slept at 8 pm that night :p
Dinner! It was DEEELICIOUS!!!

I was more refreshed on the second day after a good night sleep :) The first thing we had was to visit a castle - GIFU CASTLE! It was really really really PRETTY! Especially when the scenery when you got to the top of the Castle.
Beautiful traditional Gifu Castle :)
.
The super super steep stairs! Difficult to climb up and down. Really don't know how ppl survived these stairs.
Awesome scenery right?
Beautiful view!

Ever tried eating freshly picked fruits? I tried once when I was in Shandong,China for a school trip in Secondary 3, they were really really sweet and juicy strawberries. Now, in Japan, I'm gonna eating fresh pears that are in season.
The pear trees are short, around my nose maybe? We have to bend down and walk, had an aching back after it. I'm OLD... :(
We can only pick pears are eat on the spot, not allowed to bring it back. I can understand why. Because the pears are all so sweet and juicy, you don't wanna miss them, you might end up bringing one basket home, which you can't.
So sad that we can only eat there, because the pears are so huge and have lots of fibres, most of us were very full by the time we finished one or two. It was really fresh! But pity that I cannot eat more than 2 :(
Pears hanging on the trees... So inviting...

Freshly picked pears... Salivating!

Can you see me?
Hahaha! Wanted to take a pic with my head poking out of the pear trees, but I  couldn't come all the way up. hehehe!

It was time to leave Nagoya for Takayama... So sad. Such a beautiful place that I don't wanna leave. :(
It was a long bus ride with a lunch stop at a bus area with more breathtaking views! OMG! I LOVE JAPAN!!!!
Need I say more?

Love this bright pink flower along the pavement!
Such a cute dog right?
She's shyyy.... Ohhhh, so cute!!! <3
MILK ICECREAM! That taste so MILKY and DEEEELICIOUS!
An electric board to show you which toilet is occupied when you enter. Toilets in Japan are super high-tech!
After we reached Takayama, we went straight for the hotel. It was a 5-star Hot spring hotel. It is super super pretty! It's a pity we are only staying for a night, the room is mad comfy!
Change into a bath robe and setting of for the hot spring!

Shall just end off here, will continue about the second night in my next post! BYE! :D
