Merry Christmas!:D

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
It's the time of the year again!:) sadly, we don't really celebrate Christmas like having a tree and gifts.:( But I really love Christmas because everyone is happy receiving/giving gifts, having christmas meals, single Christmas tunes! Really lively atmosphere, but the thing is that you can only experience in orchard road(where it is like super super packed)..
I really wanna spend a white Christmas, many can consider going somewhere else for Christmas next year!:p
Anyway, the Fam woke up around ten plus in the morning today(with me beig the last:p) and head down to Plaza Singapura for brunch. Since Edina have been craving for some dimsum, we went to a Chinese restaurant for dimsum. It was empty when we entered, most likely due to the timing when we went in(11am?), and I was glad because hungry me=grumpy me=cannot stand crowded areas. Hahaha. The food was not bad, some where very innovative too, like black char siew buns and black prawn dumplings. They also have the different coloured dumplings which you can find in crystal jade. For those who don't know, difference in colour is because of different ingredients in it (green for vegetables, orange for pumpkin, and purple for sweet potato). Really innovative and colourful! I like!:) The restaurant also have very very good Liu Sha Bao too! The bun is not steamed, but fried(is it? I think so)! Not deep fried though which I will not like. Thus it is crispy when you first sink your teeth in it. The filling which I guess is made mainly from egg yolk flows into your mouth which gives it a different feel to the crispy skin. Liu Sha, means flowing sand(direct translation:p), as the yellow filling looks like sand and it flows out of the bun when opened. I've tried it for the first time in singapore's red star dimsum restaurant and thought it was good, but dad though me it was nothing compared to the ones in Guangzhou. Didn't believe him at first, but till I tried it when I went Guangzhou in April.... please save me.... It was really really deeeeelicious! Though this one cannot be compared to the one in Guangzhou, but it is really special and good too! Thumbs up! The bill cost like 90dollars for 4! Woah!!! The most expensive brunch ever! But okay luh, food not bad.
Then we went to shop shop shop shop. Most places where like having sales, and we bought quite a number of clothes, which was rare cause we seldom buy clothes when we are shopping with mum as mum would always say that we have too many:p
Next, drove to bras basah to collect sister's textbooks. I'm stating to miss me secondary school days... T.T
I was craving for Korean when we were walking to bugis for some coffee, so together with my sis, we pestered parents to being us to have Korean. We usually have it at a restaurant in Far East, but mum said that she found a better one recently. So we gave up coffee cause mum said space in our stomach is needed as we are going for a Korean BBQ buffet. In the end, the four of us found a place in McDonald's with a cup of happy meal sized coke to search for the contact(to check if it is opened) through the internet! The greatness of Internet and smartphones! So kiasu! Hehehhe!
Anyway, we found the place and headed for tanjong pagar. I was so excited.
It is just like normal Korean BBQ, but instead of ordering the meat/vegetables you want, you can just obtain it at the buffet counter. And believe me, the restaurant if the most generous one I've seen! The portion of meat are so big that it is almost the size of my face. Not only meat, they provide you with other items like Korean rice cake, noodles, soup, rice, prawn and shrimps! So many variety! And you know what? It's is only $24.90++!!! How worth it is that? You might not believe that it is good, but what if I tell you that I spotted like 2 Korean families near our tables. You know that it is really good when Koreans comes down to have Korean food there especially when that area is filled with a lot of other Korean restaurants!
I am super duper super full after that meal, and am very happy that such place exist! Hurry, go make a reservation as normally the restaurant is full!:)
That's all for today! I know I have 2ne1's concert post overdue for a long long time, I will try to finish it as soon as possible!:ppp
Nights!!!!
